Cat Has Hip/Thigh Pain? - thigh and hip pain more condition_symptoms
My son is 11 and Big Cat. 10 "shoulder and 20 # 's
It starts to go with hip pain. Vet said the retirement and perhaps some dysplaisa hip. He lies down and gently rub my hips.
All measures to alleviate the pain of my children.

I suggest you try a product of glucosamine and chondroitin good for your cat. I have seen work well in humans, cats and dogs.
The way we humans were a high quality product in health food stores and Internet sales, Biochem Glucosamine Chondroitin Formula. Each capsule contains 500 mg Glusosamine much for a cat.
You can 1 / 3-1 / 2 capsule twice a day in wet food to try. Simply pull apart the capsule and sprinkle the dust. It is tasteless.
After 6 weeks half of this amount. This would be the maintenance dose of your cat.
Give him time. It does not work at night. This will be a month or more before improvement.
